A collection of resources that will be helpful for teaching children the anti-bullying message in higher elementary school classes. I have also included a list of ideas for anti-bullying week which may be of help to your school / class. I have also included a short assembly with the excellent short animation Narrated by Kate Winslet and lots of additional resources. (If this embed in the Powerpoint doesn't work I have included the video file as a link in the notes section and as a file here.) I have included the Mac 'Keynote' version of this resource for those of you that own apple computers. (I originally made it here.) I have also written an example 'anti-bullying letter' example written in shared writing with the children and a 'Dealing with dilemmas' PowerPoint (i.e. what to do in certain situations.) I have always found the website 'Go-Givers' to be excellent. NB I do not claim to own the video sections of this resource.

Great for an introduction back to school or just as a little fun! This quiz was used during a ‘lockdown quiz’ and was designed from scratch. You may want to adapt bits for your class or use it as it is! All questions are either taken from the KS1 / KS2 curriculum or primary school textbooks just like the show. It contains multimedia clips as well! There are 50 questions in total including a picture round! Suitable for children and adults! A couple of example questions… -In ancient Egyptian times, canopic jars were used to store the organs of a mummy’s body, how many jars were used: 3, 4 or 5? -What acronym is used to describe the computer code used to create web pages?

This pack includes Movies Picture Round with 12 questions Questions 1-4: Name the actor pictured on the Hollywood walk of fame Questions 5-8: Name the film from the costume Questions 9-12: Name the film from the cryptic clue 33 carefully researched movie themed questions (including picture round it is a 45 question quiz.) Blank 45 question template to print out and write on (if required.) The questions selection is done for you, because each quiz starts easy and gets more difficult towards the end, pitched at the average quizzer, retaining an element of fun. More questions within this quiz are multiple choice for this reason, but to add a further level of difficulty the multiple choice element can merely be excluded whilst questioning. Perfect for a standard, or online quiz for adults. Questions 13 - 20: Easier questions designed to give your teams some confidence and even raise some laughs. Questions 21 - 30: Medium difficulty questions Questions 31-35: Name the film from the named ‘movie twist.’ Questions 36 - 40: Harder questions which teams will find much more challenging. Questions 41 - 45: ‘The Wipeout Round’ or ‘Double or Quits’.  It is suggested that in this section, you inform teams that each question is worth 2 points, however if one question is answered incorrectly the team ‘wipes-out’ and scores no points for the round, questions can however be missed out with no penalty (just receiving no points for that particular question.) One example of a question in this resource is… In the film ‘Cool Runnings’ in what country do they compete as a bob-sleigh team in the 1988 Olympics: Canada, Norway or France? This resource was added to the site on February 8th, 2021 All quizzes have been tried and tested in real life quizzes beforehand.

UPDATED with LOTS more resources Perfect for Years 3-5 when studying non-chronological reports / information writing, with differentiated worksheets, great for getting boys interested! Includes... -Uniquely designed 'Gunpowder Plot Story.' -Uniquely designed by myself 'Who Wants to be a Millionaire' that can be used for many other topics easily, all sounds effects etc included! -Uniquely designed article about how last year letters were discovered worth 60,000 -Powerpoint including fire safety points and fire safety advert. Also with a brief History of Bonfire night, all designed in the same sheet as the worksheets. Great as an assembly or for use in class. - Guy Fawkes poem -Task to alphabetically order key words -Highly detailed 'fact file' (4 page document) in which children are required to make their own simplified 'profiles' on the main conspirators of the Gunpowder Plot. In its current form a great activity for year 5/6 although very easily adapted for years 3/4. Many incorporate videos and animations within them and some have been used to achieve outstanding observations. For a MacBook / Apple user these are fantastic and many should work on iPad too with Keynote.
